For some time there has been no new issue news regarding DPRK stamp releases. The reason for this is very simple: the Korea Stamp Corporation, the stamp selling organization of the DPRK, didn’t release any new online news. However, the new issue leaflets do show three new stamps/series.
Until more information becomes available here is a quick scan of the new stamps. These are:
- 5215 (28 May 2019): “Our National Flag”
- 5215A-B (1 June 2019): “On Socialist Construction and the Internal and External Policies of the Government of the Republic at the Present Stage”
- 5215C-D (7 June 2019): “Visit to Russian Federation Made by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the WPK, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and Supreme Commander of the DPRK Armed Forces”
Notice that stamp numbers 5213 and 5214 are “missing” and that the stamps listed above were apparently issued in-between some of the stamps which are listed/shown on the DPRK website.
When more information comes available about these and subsequent stamps these pages will be updated.
