(News from 조선우표사 / Korea Stamp Corporation) The Korea Stamp Corporation has published a stamp in a souvenir sheet to commemorate the meeting in Pyongyang of the leaders of the DPRK and China.
According to the KSC the “Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the WPK and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, Met with Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the PRC, in Pyongyang.
Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People’s Republic of China, paid a state visit to the DPRK from June 20 to 21 Juche 108 (2019) at the invitation of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.
The revolutionaries and peoples of the two countries had provided valuable traditions of genuine comradely friendship, unity, support and cooperation in the flames of the sacred struggle for realizing the socialist idea common to them in the early days. Socialism is the core of DPRK-China friendship and the distinctive features and invincibility of the bilateral ties lie in defending and glorifying socialism by joining efforts.”
