(News from 조선우표사 / Korea Stamp Corporation) The Korea Stamp Corporation issued a series of stamps to commemorate the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea. According to the KSC “the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea was held from December 28 to 31, Juche 108 (2019) under the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the WPK. The plenary meeting set forth the line of conducting an offensive for making a breakthrough head-on on the strength of self-reliance to tide over the difficulties lying in the way of advance of the socialist construction. The DPRK State Stamp Bureau has issued 5 stamps reflecting the basic idea and basic spirit of the plenary meeting.”

The five stamps have the same value, 30 won, and feature the following:
- An offensive for making a breakthrough head-on
- The key front in the offensive for making a breakthrough head-on is the economic front
- Let us attach importance to science and technology, and improve education and public health
- Protecting the ecological environment and establishing a nationwide crisis management system to cope with natural disasters
- Let us strengthen the Party, the General Staff of the revolution, and markedly increase its leadership ability
