(News from 조선우표사 / Korea Stamp Corporation) The Korea Stamp Corporation has issued a stamp and a souvenir sheet showing the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort. According to the KSC “the inaugural ceremony of the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort was held with splendour on December 7, Juche 108 (2019).”
The text continues: “The resort is a comprehensive spa facility and multi-functional sports and cultural complex conducive to the promotion of public health and leisure activities.” The series exists of two individual stamps and one souvenir sheet with a total of 4 stamps.
Stamps
The stamps have a values of 10 won, 30 won and 50 won. The designs are:
- 10 won stamp: Welfare service facilities in Yangdok Hot Spring Resort
- 30 won stamp: Outdoor spa baths and walkways in Yangdok Hot Spring Resort
- 30 won stamp (sheetlet): Mark of Yangdok Hot Spring Resort
- 50 won stamp (sheetlet): Indoor spa baths
- 50 won stamp (sheetlet): Outdoor spa baths
- 50 won stamp (sheetlet): Skiing area and riding park
