(News from 조선우표사 / Korea Stamp Corporation) On 10 May 2020 the Korea Stamp Corporation issued a stamp series showing “animal husbandry“. As the KSC notes “Livestock farming plays an important role in producing delicious, nutritious foodstuffs as well as in providing raw materials for light industry. Moreover, manure, that make crops grow healthy and strong, can be earned from livestock.”
The text continues: “Our country has achieved great successes in developing livestock farming sector by adhering to the four key factors for the development of animal husbandry―superior breeds, sufficient feed, a scientific approach to rearing, and comprehensive veterinary services and anti-epizootic measures.”

- 10 won stamp: Capra hircus
- 30 won stamp: Ovis aries
- 50 won stamp: Bos taurus
- 70 won stamp: Oryctolagus cuniculus domesticus
