(News from 조선우표사 / Korea Stamp Corporation) On 25 May 2020 the Korea Stamp Corporation issued a stamp series titled “Great General’s March to Mt Paektu”. This series was according to the KSC to commemorate that “Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un put forward the great programme for the education in revolutionary traditions, looking round the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu from November 30 to December 2 Juche 108 (2019). The Korean people are visiting the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, keeping the will to make a breakthrough head-on all the difficulties in indefatigable spirits based on the glorious revolutionary traditions of Paektu.”
The text continued “Two souvenir sheets showing the image of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un looking round the Mt Paektu area and a souvenir sheet reflecting the log cabin for the headquarters at the Paektusan Secret Camp were issued.”
