Update on the Korea 1940 Unissued Dr. Hall’s Tuberculosis (TB)/Christmas and New Year Seal

We saw in the article posted on the Korea Stamp Society’s (KSS) website on January 23, 2020, that there had been the exciting find of two covers sent from Korea with the unissued 1940 TB/Christmas and New year seal. These were found in the USA by a member of the family of a Christian missionary who had worked in Korea. There has now been another new find of this unissued 1940 TB seal, a very rare block of four.

This new block of four unissued 1940 TB seals was listed on eBay in June, 2020. The first article discussing the unissued 1940 TB seal was published on the KSS website on July 8, 2018. If you want a refresher on the approved issued 1940 TB seal, an article on it appeared on the KSS website on April, 27, 2019.
