The Korea 1969 Christmas/New Year and TB seals

Seals

In 1969 the Korean National Tuberculosis Association (KNTA) went with two similar designs for a pair of seals for the Christmas and New Year/TB seals series. The design is a stylized Korean girl greeting birds, probably doves, and is shown in se-tenant mirror type with two different sets of the colors.

This pair of 1969 seals was produced both in sheets of 50 (10 x 5) seals with 25 of each set of design per sheet, and also in sheets of 100 (10 x 10) seals with 50 of each design per sheet. The 1968 seals were printed by lithograph on un-watermarked white paper and the sheets were sold as perforated 12 ½. One type of variety is known by the author and that is a pair missing the black color.
