Every autumn, KoreaPost—the official postal operator of South Korea, previously known as the Ministry of Communications—celebrates Philatelic Week. This annual event promotes the hobby of stamp collecting, with KoreaPost issuing special commemorative stamps and souvenir sheets each year.
For the Philatelic Weeks from 1979 to 1982, KoreaPost produced a brochure specifically featuring stamps issued during these years. This brochure is a straightforward cardboard fold measuring 114 mm by 190 mm. It includes a cut-out on the cover, allowing a view of the stamps mounted inside.
