In 1997 the Korean National Tuberculosis Association (KNTA)’s Christmas and New Year/TB seal program only issued two different small sheets of ten seals, in a horizontal souvenir sheet format. These seals picture different insects found in Korea. Since each of these two small sheets of the 1997 seals has a different insect, there are a total of 20 different insects’ images.
The 2022 Korea Postage Stamp Catalogue (KPSC) gives the catalogue numbers for the 1997 seals as TCS 388-397 and TCS 398-407, respectively , for the two sheets of ten seals. The KPSC values each of the two small sheets at 7,000 won (US$5.15). The individual 1997 seals were sold by the KNTA for 150 won ($0.11), the same price as in 1996.
The author has seen four different sheet types of TCS 388-397 and three different sheet types of TCS 398-407. It is probable that other types of sheets exist of the 1997 seal.
