Korea Post will issue a new 470-won ordinary postal card on 1 July 2026. The imprinted stamp design features 갈퀴현호색, identified on the card as Corydalis grandicalyx. The indicium, placed in the upper right corner, shows the blue flower against a pale green background and carries the inscription “KOREA” together with the denomination “470”.
The card itself is printed on off-white imitation paper and follows the standard Korean postal-card layout. The words 우편엽서 — “postal card” — appear in red at the top. The left side is reserved for the sender, marked 보내는 사람, while the right side is for the recipient, marked 받는 사람. Both sections include ruled address lines and red postal-code boxes.
The issue was designed by Jeong Eun-young (정은영). It was printed by the Korea Postal Business Promotion Institute, using offset lithography in five colours. The announced quantity is 500,000 cards, with further printings to follow according to demand.
